See you all in 2017. :D

Heh heh - the secret of Sith baking is passion!

Ingredients are a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I start baking. Through baking, I gain cookies. Through cookies, I gain victory. Through victory, my diet is broken. The Force shall feed me.

How to make friends:

29th Dec 2016, 5:25 PM

Mendiloquence

Mix together:
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

To that stir in:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Scoop out into 1 tbsp balls. Smoosh each ball to desired cookie shape (this is a stiff dough, the cookies will not expand or flatten out in the oven). Bake @ 400 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool.

Dip half of each cookie in chocolate almond bark. Drizzle white chocolate (or vanilla almond bark if you're not into white chocolate) decoratively over the top. Allow to cool completely.

Serve to stranger. Declare friendship! Await invitation to birthday party.

Almond bark is made of lies

31st Dec 2016, 3:37 PM

Mendiloquence

Not to worry! There are no almonds in almond bark. It is a deceptive confection made from vegetable fats. (It does, however, contain palm oil and soy, so, keep that in mind, allergy-wise.)

I have no idea why it's called almond bark.
