I always questioned the timeline in which you do stuff in SWTOR. To me it always feels like it's the exact same day you started no matter what.

The passage of time is left deliberately vague in SWTOR. There are a number of practical narrative reasons for this, given the nature of the story telling medium. If you factor in travel time and and how long it would really take you to complete these tasks I'm guessing it's been at lest 2 weeks (probably more) since Mendiloquence and Vette went grave robbing on Korriban. But that lacks a certain pithiness required for this joke.

The passing of time is extremely vague.

However, it's generally assumed that each Chapter takes at least a year or so. Or "Months" as it were, if you've played the Inquisitor storyline.

There are examples in different class stories of being contacted by people out of the past, and in some cases even the children of people from your character's past.

They do mention the passage of time in some of the storylines, especially in the last chapter.
